Welcome to Hook Lane Primary School,

Our motto is Encouraging Fearless Learners.

We achieve this through a broad, varied and engaging curriculum, delivered in an environment where children feel both safe and challenged. At Hook Lane, we build a culture rooted in kindness, respect and high expectations, where happy children and happy staff are able to thrive and achieve.

We are committed to ensuring that every child makes strong progress from their individual starting point. We recognise that all learners are different, and we support each child to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning that will stay with them for life.

Our teaching encourages curiosity, active participation and deep understanding. We model challenge, risk-taking and perseverance so that children learn to embrace both success and failure as part of the learning process.

We want every child to fulfil their potential, not only academically but as a valued member of the wider community. We support pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and character needed to contribute positively to the world around them.

We value the partnership between home and school and work closely with parents to ensure that every child is happy, safe and successful.
