Hook Lane Primary is a two-form entry school from Reception to Year 6, with a morning Nursery and an ASD resourced provision. Our classes are named for the qualities which together make an effective, independent, responsible, inquisitive learner and they tie-in with our school motto, Encouraging Fearless Learners.

ASD Resource Provision - Captivate

The teachers discuss these qualities with the children so that, during their time with us, the children learn not only new knowledge and skills but also how to learn well. We hope that these qualities will go with them as they move on to secondary school and beyond.

During the children’s time at primary school, they move through learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception) to Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6).
